It is clear that form followed function when looking at the design of the Talmud* page. A central Torah text is surrounded by commentary. Basic block shapes divide the page, each shape containing an argument from a specific person. The arrangement allows for an intergenerational conversation to be deliberated upon through time yet within shared space.
The pieces are created on illustration board and made from ink, graphite, colored pencil, paint, airbrush and spray paint.
Each piece is 19" x 27".
The series is composed of ten pieces: the works below are available for purchase.
